Art Nouveau Educational Brochure
Targeted to all ages, this is an informational brochure design about the art movement of Art Nouveau which spanned from 1890 to the 1910's. "New Art" had various themes of birds, female form, flowers and vines. This art style had lots of flourishes, organic and fluid. This brochure was to function as something provided to museum visitors or schools, etc. The brochure features various Art Nouveau style artists like Alphonse Mucha, Jules Cheret, Aubrey Beardsley, Henri De Toulouse-Latrec, Eugene Grasset and more. From 1890 to 1910, Art Nouveau exploded in all aspects of art and design—architecture, furniture design, product design, ceramics, fashion and graphic design. Derived from the French words meaning “new art,” Art Nouveau originated in Europe expanding to ultimately the world. The style takes inspiration from nature as its aesthetic is known for its free-flowing, unrestrained and organic style. Copy was written by me.
